Health resort ”Carpathians” Among the picturesque Carpathian mountains is located one of the most elegan and romantic palaces in the country. The fairy-tale-like palace of Schonborn (1890) has 52 rooms and an impressive facade of 365 windows, surrounded by a beautiful park filled with many exotic plants.

Mukachevo You will visit Palanok Castle (XIV). Rus Prince Fedor Koryatovych built this castle and turned it into his residence. Along the castle walls stands a monument to Ilona Zrini, a Croatian-Hungarian noblewoman, whose courageous defense of the castle against imperial forces in 1685-1688, has branded her a heroine in popular culture. Besides the castle there are many other interesting things in Mukachevo: St. Martin’s Chapel (XIV), Women's Nicholas Monastery on Mount Chernechey (XVIII), The Palace Rákóczi (1663) and a beautiful, green city hall (1903).

Beregovo Here you will find the Gothic church of All Saints (1370), Count House Reformist Church (15th Century), Prince Bethlen estate (1629), the grand build of the imperial court (1908) and the Golden Peahen Casino. The biggest attraction, however, is a pool with a unique thermal water that rises from a depth of 1600m and can provide treatment for 86 diseases. Similar water can only be found in New Zealand.

Nyzhne Selysche This unique village is a perfect example of local management in Ukraine. Living together in the "Regional Development Association", the village has built up its own infrastructure and began the successful production of cheeses. Villagers invite you to taste different kinds of cheese with wine. This cheese is made using Swiss technology and is arguably the best in Ukraine. You can also buy it for producer prices.

Synevyr Home to Synevyr Lake, also known as the Sea Eye. This lake is around 10,000 years old and sits at an altitude of 989m. It enjoys spectacular mountain scenery and crystal clear water, where trout are free to swim.

Pylypets Water cascades down Schypit Falls from a height of 15m, onto the picturesque mountain valley and creating one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Ukraine. It originates from large underground sources on Borzhava meadow. Staying here is an excellent break from civilization and gives its guests a new vitality.
